cartridge misrepresents the location of the color chambers inside the
cartridge. When refilling, be sure not to cross-contaminate cyan,
magenta and yellow chambers. Use a tooth pick to check the colors in the

Primer is used to prime HP color cartridges after refilling with ink.
Foamy ink right at the bottom of the sponge can prevent the cartridges
from working, even though they have plenty of ink in them.
