Helps Remove Air From
Sponge
Filled Cartridges |
Problem
No ink pooled at exit port and ready to transfer to print head (usually
due to trapped air). If you have filled the cartridge too fast it may be
full of foam. Foam is air. |
Solution
BFILL BOTTOM FILL ADAPTER - For use on sponge filled cartridges. It is used to remove foamy ink from
cartridges and for injecting ink through the bottom port.

| Seal the vent holes on the top of your
cartridge with electrical tape. In order for this to work properly the
vent holes must be sealed. |

| Attach BFILL to Injector. |

Insert BFILL into the exit port of the
cartridge. Exit port is round hole on bottom of cartridge. Begin to remove the Foamy ink from
cartridge. Discard the foamy ink. Repeat this until no more Foam is being
removed.

| Color Cartridge: Do one color at a time
and rinse BFILL and Injector between colors. This is so you will not cross contaminate the colors. |

| Only do the color chambers that are empty
or you may waste ink in the chamber that has ink in it still. You will
notice in the picture that when you pull back on the plunger foamy ink
will be removed from the cartridge. |
